Объяснение
Transport is a means of carrying people and goods. On land buses, cars and trains travel. In the sky aeroplanes fly, on water ships sail. Each vehicle has its own duty. The ambulance reaches the sick, the fire engine puts out fires, the lorry carries goods. In the tale in the textbook the vehicles argue about whose job is more important.

“Who is more important?” On a city road a bus and a tractor met. The bus said: “I take people to work.” The tractor said: “I plough the field, and bread comes from me too.” The traffic light by the road laughed. It said: “You are both needed.” They agreed and let each other pass on the road.
The aeroplane is in the air. The ship is on water. The train is on rails.
