The lamps and appliances in our home work on electricity. Electricity is produced at power stations. A hydroelectric station works by the force of water at a dam on a big river. Solar and wind power stations do not harm nature. We must save electricity: we switch off lamps in the daytime and switch off unneeded appliances. The textbook has the story “Where does the lamp live?”.
