Объяснение
Around us there are tiny living things we cannot see: microbes. They can be seen only through an instrument that makes things look bigger: a microscope. The word “mikros” means “small” in Greek. Some microbes are useful, some bring illness. The textbook begins Saida Ibodinova’s story “Suhrobjon va Mikrobjon”, in which a boy who dislikes washing meets the idea of microbes.
Примеры
“Under the microscope”. In the school science club the children looked at a drop of water through a microscope. Very tiny creatures invisible to the eye were swimming there. The teacher said they are called microbes. Some microbes are useful, some bring illness. That is why we wash our hands with soap.
Tongue twister: Sovun sovuq suvda suzdi. (The soap floated in cold water.)
