On the farm

Name five farm animals in English. Say what each one gives us or does.
For example: cow – milk, duck – eggs, rooster – crows, goat – milk, ox – helps the farmer.

Sing the farm song. Add two new animals and their sounds.
The child sings and adds new animals, for example: Meow, meow, meow! It is the cat.

Ask a grown-up what a cow, a dog and a duck say in your home language. Tell a friend.
The child says the sounds in the home language.

Point to one thing and say ‘This is a ...’. Point to many things and say ‘These are ...s’.
The child uses this is / these are correctly.
