Count by tens aloud from 10 to 100. Then write the ten numbers in your notebook.

Put 9 spoons and 6 forks on the table. How many are there in all?
15 (9 + 6 = 15)

How many rabbits are left after the crossed-out ones go away?

Draw two clocks. Show 3 o’clock on one and 9 o’clock on the other.
On the first clock the short hand points to 3, on the second to 9, and the long hand points up on both.

Sort 12 things at home by colour or shape. Count each group and say which group has the most.
Any correct sorting. The groups together should make 12, and the child names the biggest group.
