Protecting information and viruses
Answers are for parents and teachers.
1
Write 5 safety rules for a device at home.
Update; antivirus; strong password; do not open unknown links/files; backup.
2
Briefly explain the difference between a virus and a trojan.
A virus copies itself into files; a trojan enters disguised as a useful program and does hidden harm.
3
Write three questions that help spot a fake news item.
Who is the source? Do other reliable sources report it too? Is there a date and evidence?
4
How do a strong password and two-step verification protect together? Write 2–3 sentences.
A strong password makes guessing hard; even if it is learned anyway, entry is impossible without the extra code.
5
A stranger online writes “let’s play together, tell me your home address”. How do you respond and whom do you tell?
I do not answer or give the address, I save a screenshot and tell my parents or teacher.
