Ascaris: separate sexes, gut open at both ends, body cavity, cuticle. Planarian: hermaphrodite, blind gut, no anus, ciliated epithelium.

Compare the free-living planarian with a parasitic tapeworm and show in a table which organs were lost or became stronger because of parasitism.
In the tapeworm: attachment organs (suckers, hooks) and a cuticle appeared, digestive organs were lost, sense organs simplified, the reproductive system is strong and eggs are very many. The planarian has a gut, eyespots and ciliated epithelium.
