GoalLearn active games and attention games that can be played every day.
New words
tag (chasing game) · quvlashmachoqattention · diqqatmemory · xotirapair · juft
Explanation
Active games make exercise fun. In “tag” (quvlashmachoq) the chaser tries to touch others, and whoever is caught becomes the chaser. In “Hunters and ducks”, the “hunters” outside a circle try to touch the “ducks” with a soft ball. “Find the pair” and “Lotto” build memory and attention.
Worked examples
“Find the pair”: turn over two cards — if the pictures match, the player keeps the pair.
Class activity
“Mousetrap”: one group holds hands in a circle — the “trap” — with arms raised. The “mice” run in and out. When someone calls “Caught!”, arms come down; mice still inside join the circle. Play on soft ground and don’t bump into each other.
