GoalHear and read the long i sound in igh words.
New words
night · when it is darklight · it helps us seeflight · a trip in a planehigh · far upbright · very light and shiny
Explanation
The three letters igh together say the long i sound, like the word eye. They have no sound of their own: igh says i. Say igh, igh, night. Read the words slowly: n-igh-t, night. l-igh-t, light. The sound is in the middle of the word, and t often comes after it.
