Объяснение
“Assalomu alaykum” means “May peace be with you”. In reply we say “Va alaykum assalom”. Good manners begin with a greeting. Younger people greet elders first. When we greet, we smile and look kindly. The poem “Salomlashish odobi” (Manners of greeting) in the textbook speaks about this.
Примеры
“Greeting”. In the morning, going to school, I saw our neighbour. I said: «Assalomu alaykum, amaki!» He smiled and replied: «Va alaykum assalom, o‘g‘lim!» My mood lifted. At school I also greeted my teacher. A greeting is a small word, but great kindness.
“Assalomu alaykum” is a wish of peace.
