Draw three different ways to make 50 LE with banknotes. Write the sum for each way.
For example 50; 20 + 20 + 10; 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10.

Add the prices: a ruler costs 45 LE and a pen costs 30 LE. What is the total?
45 + 30 = 75, so 75 LE.

Ask an adult to show you real banknotes at home. Write the value of each one and put them in order from the smallest to the biggest.
Any real notes, for example 1 LE, 10 LE, 20 LE, 50 LE, 100 LE.

Which notes make 126 LE? Use the fewest notes you can.
One 100 LE note, one 20 LE note and six 1 LE notes: 100 + 20 + 6 = 126.

Write the total of these notes.
100 + 50 = 150 and 150 + 10 = 160, so 160 LE.
