Material: tools, clay pot, jewellery. Written: the Avesta, Herodotus’s Histories, the Behistun inscription.

Explain the work of an archaeologist, anthropologist and ethnographer in one sentence each.
An archaeologist digs and finds, an anthropologist studies bones, an ethnographer studies customs.

Ask your parents about an old object in your family and describe it as a “source”.
