Introduction. Historical sources
Answers are for parents and teachers.
1
Choose three objects at home and describe them as “material sources” (when made, what for).
Free answer. For example: my grandfather’s old watch — roughly how old, it shows the time.
2
Ask a parent or grandparent about one event in your family and write it in your notebook with the year.
Free answer; what matters is that both the event and a clear year are written.
3
Write 3 sentences using the word “Vatan”.
For example: The Vatan is our native land. We love our homeland. We must study the history of our homeland.
4
Draw a two-column table comparing material and written sources and put 3 examples in each column.
Material: coin, tool, fortress ruin. Written: book, decree, archive document.
