Explanation
In Part 1 we learned to read, write and compare multi-digit numbers, add and subtract them, multiply and divide by 10, 100 and 1 000, multiply in a column by one-, two- and three-digit numbers, link price, quantity and cost, and work with hours, minutes and seconds. Now we use everything together.
Worked examples
Repairs: 18 bags of cement at 52 000 so‘m and 6 rolls of wallpaper at 120 000 so‘m: 936 000 + 720 000 = 1 656 000 so‘m.
