Review: sorting words, reading a passage, a dialog
First, sort the words into three groups: Technology, Learning and Personal qualities. Then read the passage. Find the main idea first, and then the details. Use the question words: how often, why, what, when. A dialog uses the present continuous for now, can and can’t for ability and the present simple for habits. Look at the words before and after each gap. Remember the end marks: a full stop for a statement, a question mark for a question.

In our school computer club, twelve students meet every Wednesday after lessons. At the moment they are learning to make simple websites. Last month they made a website about school sports, and the head teacher thanked them. The members work in pairs because pairs can help each other. Mr Wael, the club teacher, says mistakes are part of learning. He never gives the answer at once; he asks questions first. The club also has a plan: a website for the school library.
What are you doing, Khaled?
I am drawing a mind map for my science notes.
Can you show me how?
Yes, I can. Put the main idea in the middle and draw a branch for each detail.
Sort and ask. Write 12 words from Units 1 to 3 on cards. Sort them into the three groups. Ask a grown-up to guess the group. Then write two sentences for each group.
