Connected smart systems
Answers are for parents and teachers.
1
Write the three parts of a connected smart system and one job for each.
IoT sends data; AI analyses and decides; robotics does the physical task.
2
Explain in two sentences why we say that AI learns from examples and does not think like a person.
It is a program that finds patterns in many examples. It can suggest or choose an action, but it can be wrong, so a person checks.
3
Tell a roadside breakdown story of your own in three sentences: sensor, AI, robot or person.
Any calm story with the three steps in order is correct, for example a bicycle sensor, an AI suggestion and a mechanic.
4
Choose two of the five everyday systems and say which has a robot part and which does not.
For example: the smart farm has a watering machine; the voice assistant has none because it does not move.
