Epidermis, dermis, fat; sweat gland, sebaceous gland, hair follicle, vessel and nerve.

Protection – barrier to microbes; sensation – heat/cold; excretion – sweat; temperature – sweating; vitamin D – in sunlight.

Make a table comparing sweat and sebaceous glands.
Sweat: tube, water and salts, cools, many on palms. Sebaceous: opens into follicle, softens, absent on palms.

Write 4 rules of skin care in adolescence.
Wash with mild soap, clean clothes, do not squeeze pimples, sun protection; see a doctor if there is a problem.
