Мы рассказываем о летних каникулах в прошедшем времени: «Last summer we went to Khiva. We got there by plane.» Неправильные глаголы: go → went, get → got, come → came, eat → ate, see → saw, have → had. Правильные: stay → stayed, watch → watched, rain → rained. Отрицание: «We didn’t go to the market because it was very hot.» Вопрос: «How did you get there?» — «By plane.» Последовательность: first, then, after breakfast, in the evening. Погода в прошлом: it was cloudy, it rained.
