Объяснение
The textbook has a poem by Qozi Ismoil told by young soldiers. Qalqon (shield) is something that protects. Taking care of the homeland is everyone’s duty. A soldier guards the country, a doctor heals, a teacher teaches — everyone serves the homeland with their own work.
Примеры
“Everyone is a shield of the homeland”. The teacher asked: “Who protects the homeland?” Aziz said: “A soldier!” Nodira said: “A doctor too — she heals people.” Bobur said: “A farmer too — he grows bread.” The teacher smiled and said: “You are all right.”
Similar words: qalqon = himoyachi (protector), mard = botir (brave).
