In autumn some birds fly away to warm lands and in spring they come back. They are called migratory birds: storks, cranes, swallows, nightingales. The textbook has the story “Spring has come” by Vafo Fayzulloh. Birds are our winged friends, and we look after them.

“The stork is back”. There is a stork’s nest on the old tower in our neighbourhood. All winter the nest stood empty. One day Grandpa said: “Look, the stork is back!” The stork had flown in from warm lands. It fixed its nest and welcomed spring.
Remember: birds are our winged friends — never damage their nests.
