My digital project (1): files and HTML
Answers are for parents and teachers.
1
List the three files of the club project and say what each is for.
about.html (page one), events.html (page two), style.css (the looks of both pages).
2
Say what the head and the body are for.
The head holds information about the page, like the title and the link to the style file; the body holds what people see.
3
What happens if you forget a closing tag?
The browser may not know where the element ends, so the page can look wrong.
4
Draw nested boxes for a page: container, header, section, footer, and label each.
The container is the biggest box. Inside it: header on top, one or more sections, footer at the bottom.
5
Why are the club details invented and not real?
Real addresses, phone numbers and photos are personal data and must not be put on pages like this.
