Forms and queries
Answers are for parents and teachers.
1
Use the pupils’ table: write the query grid for “Names of pupils in class 1B”.
Field: Name, Class; Show: Name yes, Class optional; Criteria: Class = 1B. Result: Salma, Youssef.
2
Which pupils have an English mark of 14 or more?
Mina (15), Salma (17), Nour (19) and Youssef (14). Omar (12) does not.
3
Explain in two sentences the difference between a table and a form.
A table keeps and shows many records. A form shows one record at a time, and its data goes into the table.
4
Find the mistake: “I hid the Class field, so the class of every pupil was deleted.”
Hidden is not deleted. The field is still in the table; the query just does not show it.
