Review: reading and writing about yesterday
A paragraph has three or four sentences about one idea. When we write about yesterday we use past verbs: played, visited, looked, loved, went, saw, had, wore, bought, ran. Every sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop. Frames help us: Yesterday it was … . I went to … . I saw … . I bought … . Read the text first. Then write about your day.
| Frame | Example |
|---|---|
| Yesterday it was … . | Yesterday it was sunny. |
| I went to … . | I went to the park. |
| I saw … . | I saw a big tree. |
| I bought … . | I bought a small gift. |
