Egalik olmoshlari otdan keyin turmaydi, ot o‘rniga keladi: mine (meniki), yours (seniki), his (uniki, o‘g‘il), hers (uniki, qiz), ours (bizniki), theirs (ularniki). «Which towel is theirs?» — «The purple one.» «One» — avval aytilgan otni almashtiradi: the purple one = the purple towel. Egalik sifatlari bilan farq: my towel — mine.
